Vivo has launched the new Vivo T5 5G in India as the latest smartphone in its T-series. The phone comes with a large 7,050mAh battery, a 144Hz curved AMOLED display and the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset.
The Vivo T5 5G starts at ₹34,999 in India and comes in four RAM and storage configurations. It also features a 50MP Sony main camera, Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The Vivo T5 5G starts at ₹34,999 for the base 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 128GB model costs ₹39,999, while the 8GB + 256GB version is priced at ₹44,999. The top 12GB + 256GB model costs ₹49,999.
Vivo is offering the smartphone in Royal Bronze and Silver Green colour options. The phone will go on sale in India from September 9 through Flipkart. Buyers can also get an instant bank discount of up to ₹4,000 using eligible Axis Bank, SBI and HDFC Bank cards.

6.83-inch Curved AMOLED Display With 144Hz Refresh Rate
The Vivo T5 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,260 × 2,800 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, which should provide smoother scrolling, animations and supported games.
The display also offers up to 2,000 nits of brightness in high brightness mode, a 300Hz touch sampling rate and HDR10+ support. Vivo has also included 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.

MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo Powers the Phone
Vivo has equipped the T5 5G with the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. The 4nm processor has a peak clock speed of 2.6GHz and works with the MediaTek NPU 850 for AI-related features.
The smartphone comes with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Vivo claims that the device can score more than 1.2 million points on AnTuTu, although actual performance can vary depending on usage and testing conditions.
50MP Sony Main Camera With OIS
The Vivo T5 5G has a dual-camera setup on the back. It includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilisation and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
For selfies and video calls, the smartphone comes with a 32MP front camera. Both the front and rear cameras support up to 4K video recording, giving users higher-resolution video options from either side of the phone.
7,050mAh Battery With 44W Fast Charging
One of the main highlights of the Vivo T5 5G is its 7,050mAh battery. Despite the large battery, the smartphone measures around 7.99mm in thickness and weighs about 199 grams.
The battery supports 44W wired fast charging through the USB Type-C port. Vivo claims that the battery can provide around 22 hours of video streaming on a single charge, although real battery life will depend on display settings, network conditions and usage.
OriginOS 6 Based on Android 16
The Vivo T5 5G runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box. Vivo has promised three generations of Android OS upgrades along with five years of security updates for the smartphone.
The phone also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. In addition, its IP68 and IP69 ratings provide protection against dust and water under specified conditions.
