Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S26 FE in South Korea as the latest Fan Edition smartphone in its Galaxy S26 lineup. The phone will go on sale in the country from September 4 and comes with several flagship features from the Galaxy S26 series.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, Exynos 2500 processor, triple rear cameras and a 4,900mAh battery. It also runs Android 17-based One UI 9 and comes with Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI features.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Price and Availability
Samsung has launched the Galaxy S26 FE in South Korea with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone is priced at KRW 1,045,000, which is around ₹65,000 based on a direct currency conversion.
The phone will be available from September 4 through Samsung Stores across South Korea, Samsung’s online store and participating online and offline mobile carrier stores.
Samsung is offering the smartphone in three colour options: Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio. Pricing and storage configurations can differ in other markets.
6.7-inch AMOLED Display With 120Hz Refresh Rate
The Galaxy S26 FE features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, which should provide smoother scrolling, animations and supported games.
Samsung has also listed peak brightness of up to 1,900 nits. The phone measures 7.4mm in thickness and weighs 193 grams, keeping the design relatively slim despite its large display and battery.

Exynos 2500 Powers the Galaxy S26 FE
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S26 FE with its Exynos 2500 processor. The chipset is based on a 3nm process and is paired with 8GB RAM on the model launching in South Korea.
The Korean version comes with 256GB of internal storage. Samsung has confirmed that memory and storage options can vary depending on the market and carrier.
The smartphone also supports 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity.
50MP Main Camera With 3x Optical Zoom
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE comes with a triple-camera setup on the back. It includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP telephoto camera.
The telephoto camera provides 3x optical zoom and supports up to 30x digital zoom. On the front, Samsung has included a 12MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Samsung has also added My FanCam, which can track a selected person in a video and keep the subject at the centre while editing. Super Steady with Horizontal Lock helps users maintain a more stable frame when recording videos during movement.
Galaxy AI Features With One UI 9
The Galaxy S26 FE runs Android 17 with Samsung’s One UI 9 out of the box. It is also the first model in the Galaxy S26 family to launch with One UI 9 pre-installed.
Galaxy AI brings several context-aware features to the smartphone. These include Now Brief and Now Nudge, which are designed to provide useful information and suggestions based on the user’s activities and context.
Samsung has also improved Smart Switch. Users can transfer information such as passwords, passkeys, call history, accessibility settings and eSIM details when moving to their new Galaxy phone.
4,900mAh Battery With 45W Fast Charging
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE packs a 4,900mAh battery. It supports 45W wired fast charging along with 15W wireless charging.
Samsung says compatible 45W charging can provide a significant amount of battery power in around 30 minutes, although actual charging speed can vary depending on conditions and the charger being used.
The smartphone also comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Samsung has promised up to seven generations of operating system upgrades along with seven years of security updates.

Samsung is also offering additional benefits to Galaxy S26 FE buyers in South Korea. Customers can get a six-month Google AI Pro subscription, a two-month Welaaa subscription and discount coupons for selected cases and accessories.
Buyers of the unlocked model can also join Samsung’s New Galaxy AI Subscription Club. Depending on the plan and conditions, the program provides benefits such as Samsung Care+, accessory discounts and a guaranteed residual value when returning the smartphone.
