Thinking about buying Poco M7 Pro or not? Let me give you an honest review after using it for a month. This smartphone looks stylish, especially its purple color variant which is available on Flipkart. And yes, there is less problem of fingerprints and smudges in it, which is a big thing.
Poco M7 Pro Review
Design and Build Quality: Boxy But Classy
First of all, let’s talk about the design. The boxy design of this phone gives a very premium feel and it can stand vertically on a flat surface. The camera island is given in a square shape which is attached above the glass back. There was a slight gap in my unit, but there is no major issue.
In the box, you get a solid quality cover which will last comfortably for 5-6 months. This is not a normal silicon case; the quality is definitely good.
Display: Magic of Full HD+ IPS LCD
If you are a display lover, then this phone is perfect for you. It comes with a Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Colours are quite vibrant and viewing angles are also good. The company has already installed a screen guard, which is a good thing.
The bezel size is also quite decent, and there is no pink tint or black crush issue on a white background. You can easily watch videos up to 4K HDR on YouTube.
Sound Quality: Volume Boost Ka Funda
Speaker loudness is also quite good, but keep one thing in mind—do not get caught up in 300% volume boost! This can damage your speakers in the long-term. The sound is clear and loud only at the default volume.

Software Experience: Android 13 and Updates
The phone comes with Android 13 out of the box. Poco promises OS updates for 2 years and security patches for 4 years. Talking about bloatware, about 20 unnecessary apps come pre-installed, most of which you can uninstall.
The Xiaomi EU dialer is also provided, with which you can record calls without announcement. FM Radio is also available, which is a plus point for old-school people.
Performance: How is it in Gaming and Multitasking?
This phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor. This chipset gives stable performance, and heavy games like BGMI also run smoothly. In the CPU throttling test, stability of 85-84% was found, which is fine.
RAM management is also impressive. Despite having 6GB RAM, the phone keeps up to 10 apps in memory without restarting.
Battery Life: Will Last a Day Comfortably
The 5000mAh battery easily lasts a day even with heavy usage. 18W fast charging is available, which may seem a bit slow if you’re used to faster charging.
Camera Performance: Decent But Not Extraordinary
The 50MP primary camera is given, which takes good photos in daylight. Low-light performance is average, and selfies from the front camera are decent.

Sensors and Haptics: Missed Opportunities
The light and gyroscope sensors work well, but the virtual proximity sensor is a bit inconsistent. Haptics are below-average and there is no feedback on the keyboard or volume slider.
Conclusion: Is This Phone Worth It?
If your budget is tight and you want a balanced phone in which design, display and performance are all decent, then Poco M7 Pro is a good option. But if you want a flagship-level experience, then it would be better to increase the budget a little more and look for other options.
Pros:
- Stylish design and solid build
- 120Hz refresh rate display
- Decent battery life and performance
Cons:
- Too much bloatware
- Haptics are average
- Fast charging is a bit slow
