OnePlus is preparing to expand its N-series lineup in India with the upcoming OnePlus N6 Lite. Ahead of the official launch, the company has revealed the phone’s design and colour options, giving us the first proper look at the device.

The OnePlus N6 Lite will come in black and green colour options and feature a flat-frame design. The company has not revealed the complete specifications or India price yet, but recent reports have already provided some details about what we can expect.

OnePlus N6 Lite Design Revealed

The official teaser shows the OnePlus N6 Lite with a simple flat design and rounded corners. OnePlus has placed a rectangular camera module on the upper-left side of the back panel.

The camera module houses two circular camera rings along with an LED flash. OnePlus branding appears towards the centre of the rear panel.

The phone will be available in black and green finishes. OnePlus may reveal the official names of these colours closer to the launch.

Display Could Offer a 120Hz Refresh Rate

The OnePlus N6 Lite is expected to feature a large AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This should provide smoother scrolling and animations compared with a standard 60Hz panel.

The display is also expected to use a flat design rather than curved edges. However, OnePlus has not confirmed the complete display size, resolution or brightness figures yet.

More information should arrive as the company releases additional teasers before the India launch.

MediaTek Dimensity Chipset Expected

Reports suggest that OnePlus could use a MediaTek Dimensity processor for the N6 Lite. The phone is expected to focus on everyday performance, 5G connectivity and battery efficiency rather than flagship-level power.

OnePlus could offer multiple RAM and storage variants in India. The exact configurations have not been officially announced yet.

The phone is also expected to run the latest version of OxygenOS based on Android out of the box.

Dual Rear Camera Setup

The teaser confirms a dual-camera design on the back of the OnePlus N6 Lite. However, OnePlus has not revealed the camera sensor details yet.

Reports point towards a high-resolution primary camera paired with a secondary sensor. A front camera will sit inside the display for selfies and video calls.

Since the company has not confirmed the camera specifications, it is better to wait for the official announcement before judging the photography capabilities of the phone.

Large Battery and Fast Charging Expected

Battery life could be another important area for the OnePlus N6 Lite. Recent reports suggest that the phone may feature a large battery along with fast wired charging.

OnePlus has been increasing battery capacities across several of its recent smartphones, so a bigger battery would not be surprising. Still, the exact capacity and charging speed remain unconfirmed for now.

The company should reveal these details closer to the official launch.

India Launch Expected Soon

OnePlus has started teasing the N6 Lite in India, which suggests that the official launch should not be far away. The company is expected to reveal more details about its display, processor, battery and cameras through upcoming teasers.

Pricing will be important for the N6 Lite because the Indian mid-range smartphone market already has several strong options from Realme, iQOO, Motorola, Redmi and Nothing.

For now, the confirmed design gives us a first look at what OnePlus is preparing. Once the company announces the price and complete specifications, it will become clearer where the N6 Lite fits within the OnePlus lineup and whether it can stand out against its competitors.
