Robot vacuum cleaners can save a lot of time, but they still have a few common problems. Some can’t reach under low furniture, hair gets stuck around the brush, and you may still have to clean the mop or empty the dust after every few runs. Dreame is trying to reduce most of this work with its new flagship robot vacuum.

The Dreame X60 Ultra Complete has now launched in India at ₹1,34,999. It comes with 35,000Pa suction, hot-water mopping, AI-based obstacle detection and a large base station that takes care of much of the cleaning after the robot finishes its job. It can also lower its navigation sensor to bring its height down to 7.95cm, helping it reach under beds, sofas and other low furniture.

Slim Design Helps It Clean Under Furniture

One problem with many robot vacuums is the raised navigation sensor on top. It helps the robot understand its surroundings, but it can also stop it from going under furniture. Dreame uses a VersaLift navigation system on the X60 Ultra Complete that can raise or lower the sensor when needed.

When there is enough space, the sensor stays raised for navigation. It can move down when the robot enters a tighter area, bringing the overall height to 7.95cm. This should help it clean places that are normally difficult for taller robot vacuums to reach.

35,000Pa Suction and a New Brush System

The Dreame X60 Ultra Complete offers up to 35,000Pa suction. It also gets the company’s HyperStream Detangling DuoBrush 2.0 system, which uses two counter-rotating brushes to collect dust, debris and hair.

The brush design also tries to stop long hair from wrapping around the roller. Anyone who has used a vacuum cleaner in a home with pets or people with long hair will know why this matters. Instead of regularly pulling tangled hair out of the brush, the vacuum is designed to handle more of it on its own.

AI Helps It Avoid Things Lying on the Floor

You won’t always have an empty floor before starting a robot vacuum. Charging cables, slippers, toys and other small objects can easily get in its way. Dreame uses two 120-degree AI cameras, 3D structured light and LED lighting to help the X60 Ultra Complete identify what is in front of it.

Dreame says the robot can recognise more than 280 types of objects, including objects as small as 10mm. It can then move around them instead of simply pushing them or getting stuck. The system also helps the robot understand different areas of the home while cleaning.

It Can Vacuum and Mop at the Same Time

The X60 Ultra Complete doesn’t only collect dust. It also has two rotating mop pads that work at up to 230rpm and apply up to 15N of downward pressure. The system uses hot water to help clean stains and greasy areas instead of simply wiping them with a wet mop.

Dreame has also worked on corners and edges. The mop and side brush can extend outwards so the robot can reach closer to walls and furniture. When it reaches a carpet, it can change how it handles the mop depending on the cleaning mode you select.

The Base Station Does Most of the Cleaning Afterwards

The large base station is an important part of the X60 Ultra Complete. Once the robot returns after cleaning, the dock can empty its collected dust and wash the mop pads with hot water. This reduces how often you have to clean the robot manually.

The robot packs a 6,400mAh battery. Its station comes with a 4.2-litre clean-water tank, a 3-litre used-water tank and a 3.2-litre dust bag. You can also control the vacuum through a smartphone and supported voice assistants.

Dreame X60 Ultra Complete Price in India

Dreame has priced the X60 Ultra Complete at ₹1,34,999 in India. Sales through Dreame’s website, Croma and select offline stores start from September 22, while Amazon India availability begins on September 27.

At this price, the X60 Ultra Complete is clearly aimed at people looking for more than basic automatic sweeping. Its 35,000Pa suction, low 7.95cm design, AI object detection, hot-water mopping and self-cleaning dock are mainly about reducing how much work you still have to do after buying a robot vacuum.
